…thank you so much for giving us a lifetime memory
I have no idea what I was expecting from the llama walk, but my daughter and I had a wonderful day. Two days later, that grin is still on her face. She posted on her Facebook page that Sunday was the best day of her life. So yeah, walking with a llama is good for the soul. Thank you so much for giving us a lifetime memory.

…making each guest feel 100% welcome
The time I spent at Second Wind Farm was wonderful. I learned tons about llamas and had a great time getting to know the Vienckowski family. The passion they have for caring for the farm and making each guest feel 100 percent welcome is truly amazing!

…definitely a unique experience
Walking the llamas was definitely a unique experience. The whole time we spent on the trails there was this sense of disbelief and “I can’t believe I’m actually walking a llama”! All of the llamas were so patient and calm, even with our inexperience, and it was something we can’t wait to try again!

…the llamas are a lot of fun to spend time with
I have both cared for and walked with the llamas at Second Wind Farm, and enjoyed every minute of it! In 2013, my then fiancé and I tended the llamas for several days while the owners were away. The llamas have always been well behaved, and are a lot of fun to spend time with!

…a fun experience
I met five fabulous llamas in November 2012 at Second Wind Farm. They were friendly, accepting and Carbon even taught me how to walk with him! What a fun day! This exposure led me to want to llama-sit with my then fiancé in August 2013. The llamas were great and all behaved well. Being around them is relaxing, as they are calm animals. Spending time at Second Wind Farm is such a fun experience!”

…I smiled the entire time
First, Bev gave us a history lesson about the llamas. Then a practice walk around the cones. Walking the llamas was so much fun. I smiled the entire time. They were so cute. It was a fantastic day. I hope to visit again.

…great adventure with your llamas
Bev, I’m not sure I ever thanked you for the great adventure we had with your llamas. What an experience for us to get to interact with such amazing creatures. Made even better by your knowledge of llamas and willingness to share. Although my son’s girlfriend was initially intimidated by the size and attitude of your guys, your command of the animals and their respect for you quickly put her at ease. The trip out to you farm made for some fun stories at Thanksgiving, and left the other members of the family very jealous of those of us who were lucky enough to participate in the llama walk. Can’t wait to do it again.

…great to make a connection with an animal whose eyes looked directly into yours
Having never been around llamas, Bev gently and calmly introduced all her friends and told us what to expect to make us feel as comfortable with them as they with us. It felt great to make a connection with an animal that was big and whose eyes looked directly into yours. They also enjoyed to be kissed on the nose! I look forward to going back and having another llama experience again.
